The Krewe of Christopher welcomes your interest in having someone serve as a Lady in Waiting or Page. Since 1953, the Krewe has annually brought a first class Mardi Gras Tableau and Ball to our community. Families in our community have long found participation in our ball to be a very rewarding experience.

Ladies in Waiting and Pages may be nominated by a relative but the parents or guardians must give permission so please be sure they are aware of the application. Please direct any questions to the Captain.

Ages: Ladies in Waitings are girls between the ages of 5-10. Pages are personally requested by the King and Queen.

Costumes: Parents of participants will be instructed on the time and location for costume/dress fittings. Please do not alter the structure or appearance of the dress. The approximate cost of the costumes are $350 each. The captain will facilitate fittings.

Escorts: The person submitting the application will be the escort for the Lady in Waiting or they may denote another person to escort them. Regardless, the persons submitting the application (father, step-father, or grandfather) and the escort must be members of the King’s Club.

Rehearsal: Rehearsal is crucial to putting on a successful Tableau, and participants are required to attend. We have made an effort to condense rehearsal as much as possible. You will receive a rehearsal schedule which outlines the specific time of practice.
