The Krewe of Christopher welcomes your interest in having someone serve as a Junior Maid. Since 1953, the Krewe has annually brought a first class Mardi Gras Tableau and Ball to our community. Families in our community have long found participation in our ball to be a very rewarding experience.

Junior Maids may be nominated by a relative but the parents or guardians must give permission so please be sure they are aware of the application. Please direct any questions to the Captain.

Ages: Junior Maid are girls between the ages of 10-13.

Costumes: Junior Maids will furnish a floor length white dress (white only, no off colors) with shoulder straps/covered. The Captain will approve all dresses prior to participation.

Escorts: The person submitting the application will be the escort for the Junior Maid or they may denote another person to escort them. Regardless, the persons submitting the application (father, step-father, or grandfather) and the escort must be members of the King’s Club.

Rehearsal: Rehearsal is crucial to putting on a successful Tableau, and participants are required to attend. We have made an effort to condense rehearsal as much as possible. You will receive a rehearsal schedule which outlines the specific time of practice.
